BAYDA Bible Bowl: Greater New York Teams Bring Home two Third Place Trophies

The Greater New York Bible Bowl Teams came back safely and happy from the BAYDA Bible Bowl Finals with two Third Place Trophies and a wonderful time in the Dallas/Fort Worth Area. Tamika Goburn, Greater New York Conference Bible Bowl Coordinator reported: “Bible Bowl XXVI (26) was well worth the trip. From the great weather to the Sabbath sermon and our two third place trophies, I can say a great time was had by all. In a surprise twist, two of our very strong teams were bested by teams whose recall ability were unrivaled by most…. Our Junior Team… fought their way to the semifinals. I am proud of all our teams, especially, our Senior Youth team that competed without one of their teammates.”
The two team that earned third place trophies are:
Juniors from the Queens Ghana Seventh-day Adventist Church
Kofi, Kojo, Bright, Immanuel

Senior Youth from Manhattan’s Washington Heights Seventh-day Adventist Church
Alyson, Andrew, Jharony,Kadine, Richard
Coach: Natalie
On behalf of all of the youth, and young adults of the Greater New York Conference, we would like to congratulate all of our teams who went to the BAYDA Finals for studying the Bible so much and for representing our Conference so well. Special thanks to the parents, churches, Conference Bible Bowl Coordinators, and Pastors who supported our teams through the year.
