2. PRAYER - PETITION & PRAISE

REGISTRATION TICKETS: Please pray for everyone trying to buy tickets before the event sells out. We would like as many people as possible to be registered by December 31, 2008.

ELIZABETH RAMOS: A month ago, we requested prayer for Liz Ramos. She had delivered and lost one of her twin daughters; the other baby was still in the womb. Today, we want to not only thank everyone for their prayers and support, but praise God for the delivery of Kathleen Rochelle Ramos. She was born September 26, 2008 and was 1 lb 8 oz, 13 inches long. She still needs much care, but is getting stronger and healthier every day. We ask that you continue to pray for Kathleen and her family.

3. DAYTIME PROGRAMMING

ROCKS AND MINERALS HONOR: The Oregon Conference is teaching the Rocks and Minerals Honor at the Camporee for the third time in a row! They need 12 clubs to bring rocks from their state or country to CTS. Clubs will need to bring 1000 rocks of one type that are 1-2" in size. Clubs who bring rocks will get first priority on getting a unique rock collection. Please do not bring rocks without contacting: Rod Bardell, Pathfinder Coordinator, 38887 Mt. Home Dr., Lebanon, OR 97355 or rodanntreesrus@iinet.com. Send a postcard or email with your name, club, address and rock type.

COMMUNITY OUTREACH: Did you know that Joe Watts, who works at the NAD-Adventist community Service office, with the help of Central California is organizing over 10,000 pathfinders to be salt and light to Fox Valley, Wisconsin? For more info or to sign up, contact Joe Watts at jwatts@txsda.org or call (817) 641-7679.

4. NIGHTTIME PROGRAMMING

THEME SONG WRITING CONTEST: We need a theme song and we are asking for your help in selecting one. So tune those guitars, pianos and other instruments, (and of course your voices), and enter the Courage to Stand Theme Song Contest. The winning entry will receive two free tickets to the International Camporee. For more information and the complete list of rules, click here.

5. FACILITY / CAMPSITE

RV PUMPING: During the CTS Camporee, Waste Management will be pumping RV’s and campers for a fee. You will need to fill out the instructions of “RV pumping envelopes” located at each shower house. The orange ribbon must be placed on the vehicle for the Waste Management driver to locate. All forms deposited before 6:00 a.m. in the drop boxes will be serviced that day. Any form deposited after 6:00 a.m. will be pumped the next day. Also, the pump truck must be able to get close to the RV in the campsite. All RV pumping will be done after at least the 1st servicing of the Port-O-Lets since this is priority. More information will be posted in future newsletters.

GRAY/WASTE WATER: Large containers will be located in various places (next to the Port-o-lets) for all gray water and waste water (this includes dish washing water).

DUMP STATION: There is a dump station located on the south end of the camping area for those needing to dump their RVs during or at the end of the Camporee. As you leave the Camporee you will be able to have one free use of this facility.

6. SECURITY / TRANSPORTATION / MEDICAL
