1. To reach and baptize Youth and Young Adults who are part of the church.
2. To reach and baptized Youth and Young Adults who live in the church’s community (neighbors, colleagues, friends, and relatives of the Adventist Youth Society members)
3. To equip Youth and Young Adults to be active and faithful disciples and leaders, who work on behalf of God and His church.
Everything that is planned, developed, and completed in the Adventist Youth Society has to be done with the objectives, listed above, in mind: a skit, a contest, a social, a sports event, a rally, a concert, a parade, a week of prayer, an open forum, a talent show, a holiday special, a community project, a contribution to the city, among others.
Each Adventist Youth Society leader must bear in mind that weekly AY programs are not to be carried out, inside the four walls of the church, every week. Community outreach, outdoor projects, local mission trips, vespers by the sea, hospital visitations, missing youth & young adult visitation, toy drives in conjunction with the local Post Office, and Christmas caroling in the neighborhood, are expected of an excellent Adventist Youth Society. Always remembering the three objectives mentioned above.
If the work of the Adventist Youth Society is carried out based on the three objectives of its existence; the results will be the following: The youth and young adults of the church will remain in the church; the youth and young adults of the community will accept Jesus and come into the church; there will be large numbers of dedicated and active youth and young adults in the church, working on behalf of God. Nothing or no one is more powerful than lots of young people working for God, with the blessing of the Holy Spirit.
