Adventist Youth Leadership Certification Curriculum

The Adventist Youth Coordinators Advisory of the Greater New York Conference worked together with Pastor José H. Cortés Jr. in order to put together a comprehensive, urban, practical, evangelistically oriented, and updated Adventist Youth Leadership Certification.
The purpose of this training program is to assist the leader in training, to develop knowledge, personal spiritual discipline, leadership skills, and a practical approach to Youth and Young Adult Ministries in the XXI Century, in the Greater New York Area.
The year 2006 marked the beginning of the AYLC Class in Greater New York Conference, at the end of the year 14 candidates were conferred with the Adventist Youth Leadership Certification. During 2007 the program will be taught by Everette Samuel (Brooklyn), Sunilbe Rosario (Spanish), and Teddy Williamson (Bronx) and their staffs.
