Schedule of Workshops and Seminars for I Adventist Youth Evangelism & Leadership Congress

You can now download the Schedule, with over 100 workshops, to be presented during the Adventist Youth Evangelism and Leadership Congress. The final draft will be posted by Wednesday morning, however, this will give you a very accurate idea of what will take place in the four different training tracks, during this weekend.

One of the initiatives, which will be introduced at the Congress, is the launching of the Adventist Youth Emergency Services Corps (AYES Corps). The introductory class will be taught at the Congress.
If you are a Master Guide Candidate, you must follow and complete the Adventurer Basic Staff Training ABST; the Pathfinder Basic Staff Training will be taught on another weekend in New York City. As you know, before you become in Master Guide in the Greater New York Conference, you must complete both Basic Staff Trainings.
If you are an Adventist Youth Leadership Certification Candidate, you must take the classes that fulfiil the program, these classes will be identified with AYLC. There will also be some AYLC Elective Classes, which you will be able to identify in the Schedule with AYLC Elective. In order complete your Adventist Youth Leadership Certification, you will need to complete four elective classes. Keep this in mind, as you plan for the weekend.
As you make arrangements with work and travel, keep in mind that workshops will begin at 6:30 PM, the second session will continue at 7:35 PM. It is important that you make arrangements to make it from the very beginning. Try to arrive before the sun sets, before the Sabbath hours, so you can enjoy the entire congress, without stress. The check in office will open at 3:00 PM.
