Esteban Rosario & Walter Harris appointed Coordinators of Adventist Youth Emergency Services

Pastor Jose H. Cortes Jr, Director of Adventist Youth Ministries and Pastor Ruben Merino, Director of Adventist Community Services in Greater New York met and agreed on the formation of a the Adventist Youth Emergency Services Corps (AYES Corps) in the Greater New York Conference. As a result of this meeting, two Conference wide AYES Corps Coordinators have been appointed, Walter Harris and Esteban Rosario; both are Master Guides, and great Youth, Young Adult, and Pathfinder Leaders, with experience in the areas of Emergency Services & Disaster Response.

AYES Corps is an organization co-led in cooperation by the Adventist Youth Ministries Department and the Adventist Community Services Department, it involves young adults in disaster response and other community action projects.

Pastors Merino and Cortes will be meeting with Harris and Rosario over the weekend to chart the course for the birth and development of AYES Corps in the Greater New York area and its sorroundings.
