Greater New York Wins two Second Places at the BAYDA Bible Bowl Finals
|
Two of the four teams, Greater New York brought to BAYDA's National Bible Bowl advanced all the way to the final and took second place. The Junior Team, from the North Bronx Church lost a close final game to the South Atlantic Conference Team, who won the Championship. The Young Adult Team, from the Victory Church lost the final game to Northeastern, securing the second place in nationally.
The Senior Youth Team did win one of the more exciting games of the entire championships, but was later eliminated, as well as the Adult team. The Senior Youth Team is from the Washington Heights Church and the Adult Team is from the Macedonia Church, in Long Island.
