1. United Campmeeting (Sabbath, September 16 @ CampBerkshire): The pre-program will begin at 9:45 AM and SabbathSchool at 10:00 AM. The entire program will be held under the big tent and we expect around 3,000 Pathfinders, Master Guides, youth, and young adults there. All of us will be able to participate in an excellent praise and worship service. We are requesting that each clubs and each Master Guide attends in Class A uniform; don’t forget to bring the flags of all the countries represented in your church for the Parade of Nations,
In the afternoon we are planning a baptism, where we expect to have a great group of young people, Pathfinders, and Adventurers get baptized. The baptism will take place in the pool. After the baptism we will have our traditional Cookies and Ice Cream under the big tent. The flyer is included here in the package.
2. Adventurer Day (October 14, 2006 @ each local church): Sabbath, October 14 is the official Adventurer Day in Greater New York. Planning a good program, that is carried out by the Adventurers is imperative in such a day. Our kids enjoy participating in our church services. The baptism of Adventurers and Adventurers’ parents would also be very special on this day.
A mission project for Adventurers and a social night would give a golden touch to this day.
3. Pathfinder Day (November 18 @ each local church): Sabbath, November 18 is the official Pathfinder Day in Greater New York. Planning a good program, that is carried out by the Pathfinders is imperative in such a day. Our kids and teens enjoy participating in our church services. The baptism of Pathfinders would also be very special on this day.
A mission project for Pathfinders and a social night would give a golden touch to this day.
4. Last Day for Investitures (November 18): The last day to hold investitures this year is Sabbath, November 18, as it is announced in the Conference Calendar. We uphold this deadline to assure that our Coordinators, who spend Sabbath after Sabbath at the churches, have a few Sabbaths off with their families, during the month of December.
