Ellen G. White on Fanaticism, Extremism, and Traditionalism
|
It is important to note that Ellen G. White warned the church and its members against extremism, fanaticism, criticism, and traditionalism among many other things. Ellen G. White exposed them as great threats to the church, its message, and its mission. Youth, Young Adults, and Church Members in general must be able to distinguish these in order not to allow the fanaticism, extremism, and traditionalism to take away from the joyous, victorious, creative, and mission oriented Christian life that Jesus wants us to live. By the way, youth, young adults, and all church members must know that Ellen G. White was a happy, joyful, balanced, graceful, and mission oriented individual, who began working for God and became one of the founders of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, endowed with the gift of prophecy, when she was a Teen, at age 17.
